The Broadview Loop and Short Creek R.R. is a freelance narrow gauge line housed in a space about 18' X 28'. The layout is outdoor and I think the walk around is wide enough to accommodate a wheel chair. On 200' (plus or minus) of code 250 aluminum rail we operate a variety of large scale rolling stock one train at a time.
Items of interest (other than Maria and my only self) are perhaps some of our home grown freight cars. Another thing is our hand made stub switches and a 3-way. If you are looking for flowers on the pike, you're out of luck - lots of rock and other green stuff out there however. The R.R. is in it's 11th year now and the buildings and Trestles confirm that. But if they were new, the layout would not be as interesting. We hope you will visit our 'winding thru the green stuff' R.R. empire. We try to do the following:

  1. Running European No. 1 gauge from Noon to 1:30 p.m.
  2. Running Domestic Narrow gauge in 1/24 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
  3. Running 20.3 scale until closing at 5 p.m.
