 "The Alpental Bahn (Alpine Valley Railroad) is still
under construction, but the trains are running. The bi-level layout with about 250 feet of
track is designed to simulate a valley and its adjacent mountainside. I can run either
European trains on the Alpental, or Old West on the Alpine Valley. The structures I have
yet to install will eventually differentiate between the two locales."The Alpental Bahn uses the LGB MTS system for control. I
hope to eventually install working signals to guide its operators. With proper coordination,
three trains can be operated on this 28' by 16' raised layout." |
