"Dave and Judy invite you to an open house on October 12th,
1:00-5:00. Our Bear Mt. & Wolf Creek Railroad is now in its third year of operation. "The B M & W C was inspired by our love of bears, wolves, steam
trains, Old West, and outhouses. The early 1900's railroad has 190 feet of track built inside
a raised L-shaped bed, and includes a pond and waterfall, a log pond and lumber mill, a logging
camp, a switch yard with gravel pit, a western town, mountains and a farm. And how many bears
and wolves can you see? "New this year is a remote control switch system and a trestle,
wood bridge and log dump (thanks to help from Bill Peterson and Joe Novak, respectively). Look
for the new 100th anniversary Theodore Roosevelt Teddy Bear car. A new engine, an LGB Southern
2-4-0, has been added to the LGB Mogul, Bachmann Shay, and infamous Aristocraft Teddy bear
0-4-0 (twice winner of the Rich's Great Train Race). Join us for cider and donuts, and don't
forget to sign the guest book. We can bearly wait!" |
